Stacey Abrams is the five-time New York Times bestselling author of Stacey’s Extraordinary Words, Rogue Justice, While Justice Sleeps, Our Time is Now, and Lead from the Outside; an entrepreneur; and a political leader. Under the nom de plume, Selena Montgomery, she also penned eight romantic suspense novels from 2000-2009. She is the award-winning producer of the documentary, All In: The Fight for Democracy, which made the 2021 Academy Award shortlist for best documentary. Abrams also received a 2021 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance.

A tax attorney by training, Abrams served eleven years in the Georgia House of Representatives, seven as Minority Leader, and became the 2018 Democratic nominee for governor of Georgia, where she won, at the time, more votes than any other Democrat in the state’s history. She has launched multiple organizations devoted to voting rights, training and hiring young people of color, and tackling social issues at the state, national, and international levels. She is the founder of Fair Fight Action, Fair Count, and the Southern Economic Advancement Project. A small business owner, she co-founded the financial services firm NOW Corp., and the kid-focused tech company, The Family Room, Inc.; and she launched the media company, Sage Works Productions, Inc., in 2020.

Abrams sits on both nonprofit and corporate boards, and she is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has received degrees from Spelman College, the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, and Yale Law School.
